I'll try to make this as short as possible

yesterday I slept and left my laptop on (not the first time done it hundreds of time before) when I woke up I found the system frozen and no response what so ever, so I unplugged the battery and plugged it again and start it up but the system freezes in loading screen for windows just before it asks me for my password

I called Dell and me and the tech support ran a Hardware test and it was fine no problems,so he said the problem must be software ether it's a virus or something wrong with the registry. He put me through the software tech support but those A holes didn't help because they wanted me to pay $130 dollars because my warranty is hardware I don't have a "Software Warranty".

so I started up the windows in safe mode + networking and had my Kaspersky run a full scan on my computer. It took 6 hours and found a lot of viruses and Trojans that wasn't their yesterday so it must entered when I was sleeping (where is the Kaspersky Firewall in all this at the time I have no fucking Idea)

After deleting all the Viruses and Trojans and what not I restarted my system hoping it's all taken care of now but nooooooo it still freezes on the same screen and I don't know what to do

did the virus damaged my system beyond repair ??

can I fix my laptop without formatting my hard drive ?? (formatting is my last salutation when everything else fails)

any help is appreciated and I wrote this in a hurry plus my keyboard is really acting up  so sorry for the spelling in advance
