Why should I be thanking them for making a non-realistic MMA simulator. Why should I be thanking them for including an arena that has never allowed MMA. It's not a crime for them to put it in there, but it shows how lazy and/or rushed the development was.
Let me ask you this- After all the things Ive critisized, youve never really praised the game or mentioned too much about why you think it's so good. Poor animations, poor graphics, sluggish gameplay, limited music, limited create a fighter, limited career mode, terrible CPU AI, limited fighting styles, limited online options (no lobbies, bad matchmaking. Why is a lvl 1 guy fighting someone who is lvl 25?). And the unrealistic things already mentioned, like MSG and lack of southpaws.
I could critsize this game all day. |
again, your criticisms DO NOT influence the gameplay.
1.) you're blaming lazy devs for INCLUDING SOMETHING? if they were lazy, WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST NOT INCLUDE IT? IT TAKES MORE TIME TO INCLUDE SOMETHING THAN TO JUST LEAVE IT OUT! common sense man.. please.
2.) poor animations, poor graphics, limited music, limited create a fighter options, limited career mode blah blah blah, DO NOT MAKE THE GAMEPLAY BAD. IT IS AN ACCURATE REPRESENTATION OF MMA FIGHTING. go ahead and blame the AI, but the large part of this game is played with friends. and while you're on that subject, try the higher difficulties too. online options, hell, this is THQ's first UFC game. i'll forgive them for errors like that. but as far as gameplay goes, and GAMEPLAY BEING THE MOST IMPORTANT CRITERIA, THQ DELIVERS WELL.
3.) i did say why the game is good. read the original post.
4.) this is the last time i'll address your concerns. again, i agree, there are limited options on a bunch of things. but your complaints DO NOT INFLUENCE THE GAMEPLAY. you're just complaining about the aesthetics. the look. the sound.
but you cannot complain about the gameplay IF you've actually learned the thing and IF you play against someone who knows what he's doing.
