I have to go for the night.

Sorry Buggrimmar, but we are going to have to agree to disagree here. I respect your stance and the fact that you came at me in a respectable way, unlike most kids at these forums. But my opinion stands. Theres way too many faults in this game. Both in gameplay, and design.

I just want an honest answer for this. How long have you been watching MMA, and how big of a fan are you? Have you ever practiced MMA?

Because I think that's what the difference is here. I've been watching UFC for over 15 years and practiced in Muay Thai and a little bit in grappling. Im not trying to come across as arrogant because of that, but I truly think this game has a lot of faults that hardcore MMA fans will not like, but casual MMA fans (I'm guessing you are one of them) won't even notice.

Check out this thread if you havent already. It's at an MMA forum... and theyre tearing this game apart as well.

Again, if you're casually an MMA fan... I can see why you'd enjoy it. Me personally? This is not a MMA Simulator. This is a WWE game with UFC characters and an octagon.

1.) you have too many nitpicks and nonsense complaints about the game that have nothing to do with the gameplay. you're complaining about MSG being there? you're complaining about few options about your character's look? you're complaining about not being able to use existing characters in career mode?

these complaints of yours DO NOT RUIN THE GAME. you're just being far too sensitive.

2.) for your information, i'm an amateur boxer who has been training for the better part of 5 years, daily. i've been watching mma since UFC 1. before UFC 1, i've been a huge fan of boxing and taekwondo competitions ever since grade school. all my friends train in some form of combat sport. i have a friend who teaches BJJ. i have another friend who fights regularly in small mma competitions around our neighborhood (we call it pasukoan, which means "to make the other guy give up").

3.) the reason why i like this game is precisely why you hate it. it's DIFFICULT. i like the game because it takes skill to play it. i like the game because it represents ACTUAL MMA, wherein you really have to mix and match and practice like hell on different facets of the game. while you keep claiming that it's easy, you haven't even tried playing against a real human yet. try your headkick spam online, and see if you win even one match. try it.

4.) again, this is a game. it's not perfect. there are things that weren't included. but the things that were not included aren't game changing. in fact, those things don't need to be in the game for it to be good.
