Actually, I say: do it. That will help out European farmers. :)

That's becaues the EU is the most blantant when it comes to rampant protectionism.

If the subsidies went away it would allow third world countries to sell there food more evenly on the open market.  Food prices would decrease.

Subsidizing and Biofuels are two of the biggest reasons food is so expensive.
