Gaming - 30 FPS vs. 60 FPS - View Post

Supposedly films use 18 fps, but those frames include things like motion blur which the brain can interpret as movement. If video games incorporated blur then 18fps would be acceptable. Unfortunately they don't, so a higher fps is necessary. To me 30 fps is fine, 60 seems to be overkill. I see a difference, as one appears slightly more fluid, but don't ask me to identify what is 60 or 30 fps, because I would probably fail half the time.
