I watch the show. Kris is the better singer. I hear he won by a large margin. It was obvious he was going to win last week.
They announced that the top two were only a million votes apart (out of 80 million), so the winner is going to be whomever the people voting for Danny were going to vote for once he was out. That's Kris.
