Obviously you do care what people think, or you wouldn't get so worked up about it.
But you know what? I don't want Sony to fail. I want them to stop making themselves fail. The better product that Sony can make, the more interested I will be in buying it. That's the entire concept of competition in a free market. I don't want Sony to fail, I want them to understand why their strategy is failing and make a better product next time.

The people who poked fun at the SIXAXIS for having no rumble said exactly the same thing both before and after the rumble announcement. Sony's "rumble is last generation" and "rumble interferes with motion sensing" excuses were a bullshit coverup for their lawsuit with Immersion. Everyone knew it then, and Sony confirmed it for us when the lawsuit was been settled and suddenly we had SIXAXIS controllers with rumble. There is no hypocrisy nor self-contradiction in calling a spade a spade twice.
If you people would actually engage in conversation, you'd contribute so much more to this community than simply trying to discredit anyone who prefers another console.
