Today me and my girlfriend Kirsty broke up. 4 months ago we got together after a few weeks of seeing each other. We met at university in Lincoln (the UK) where we were both 3rd years. She lives in Manchester and I live in Nottingham (2 hours by car) and today I told her, despite a couple of weeks of us saying we would try a long distance relationship, that we should break up. Our uni lives are over, and the real world of getting a job has begun and thats obviously a priority for both of us.

I really, really liked her, loved her even, and she was perfect to me in pretty much everyway, but on monday when i last saw her, she headed off to her home on a train with the plan that in a couple of weeks id see her at her house, then a few weeks after she would see me and so on. We worked out we would see each other about 8 days a month, which sounded bad at first, then got better, and then when she left just seems like not enough so i told her and here i am, single.

Has anyone ever done the long distance relationship? Has it worked, has it not worked? Did i make the right decision?

Thank you to anyone who replies

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD
