In Europe the situation far more balanced with 360 recieving Star Ocean: The Last Hope and Tales of Vesperia while the PS3 recieves Agarest Senki and Cross Edge. Nothing major seems to be coming for either console in America. Pretty much everything is going to come down to what Microsoft and Sony announces at E3 this year. Microsoft is likely going to need either a big exclusive game such as Forza Motorsport 3 to launch this summer or a new pricing strategy to continue to outsell the PS3 until Autumn. However, if Sony issues a price drop for the PS3 as their fiscal projection suggests, then there really isn't anything Microsoft can do aside from match Sony's cut dollar for dollar, but their only in a position to do that if it's $50 or less. |
