1st party games usually are never multi-platform. I can't think of one.  So that is a pointless point.

Getting direct control over peripherals and marketing is just a given unless a 3rd party makes a peripheral for a certain game. So I don't really even see a point in mentioning that.

Yes, they get more money from 1st party games but you would get even more money if you sold a ton of first and third party games.

So basically all your points are pointless. Also, 3rd party support for the Wii is picking up so the argument over lack of 3rd party support will soon be nullified.

best post in the whole thread  i think most people agree with what you said

"edit: i actually realized that nintendo has the mst 3rd party support now that i think of it?? wii cheer? wonder babiez? barnyard games? why are people complaining then

Seriously?.... anyway, I think most gamers are not interested in those games like you are (if you're actually serious and not trolling) and don't care when games like that are announced. most gamers here are more interested in games with more depth and better gameplay.

i myself would like more games on my system (who wouldn't?) especially if you only have that particular system :(   and honestly am not very interested in those particular games you mentioned.

I'm not sure what going on here... if this is an attempt at trolling then it's not a very good one :(   If you're actually arguing that less 3rd party support is better for Nintendo then i don't know what to say (obviously i don't agree).
