if this is , I it is the same idiot who started the whole fake Conduit review.

if it is real, I bet people in UK could do a class actin suit against for any competitive behaviour.

*COUGH* intel and it's 2BN fine in EU .

I bet a lawyer could build a case around it after that tragedy with intel.

that same theory will lend ms to do the same in japan over the much bigger name of ffxiii

your assuming that their legal system will care. the only reason this MAY have a chance is because INTEL got done for anti competitive behaviour in EUR.

It basically opens a door in EUR for similar suits. And I wasn't saying sony would sue. people would for being force limited to 1 choice, when there are more available.

im sure people in japan would care and btw if the britain case would go ahead people in japan could use that as a case for evidence.. i cant remember what its called but the legal system thrives on a first case going ahead then copying the result.

Plus every single exclusive would get affected by this if one did happen

I'm pretty sure a legal precedent cannot be established when the law is different. Else there will be precedent for stoning thief to death as that is the law of some middle eastern countries. Japan is not part of the EU and has an entirely different legal system; thus there is no precedent.

@headshot: Japan is still the second biggest market for video game (with respect to individual nation)

Ontopic: This is even more baffling than the ghostbuster exclusive and in the end, it's the consumer that will suffer. Be it MS or Sony, I think this type of practice sucks.
