Really? They still kick ass in arcades. Maybe japanese RPG fans do these days, I don´t know. Do you have any sort of proof ? More than half JRPG sales are outside Japan nowadays btw.
@Xxain: Probably you´ve played too many JRPGs, that´s why. It happens to me. I´m not moved by FF and similar JRPGs like I used to, same thing with FE since I´ve played so many of them. Now main SMT games and its spin-offs are the replacement.
