Nintendo displayed alot of vision and patience in implementing the SDHC technology into the Wii, and new stand to reap the benefits of doing so.  Given the higher of the standard, it is feasible to have Wii games on these cards.  This brings me to this article I just read about SDXC…

This technology is HUGE (literally and figuratively), since in 2 years, it will help drive the cost of SDHC down to a low cost.  I’ve been of the belief that SSD will be ready to replace HDD by the next console generation, but many have doubted that.  It might be even possible to make a cheaper, one-time burn SDHC to storage games onto….but time will tell.  Anyway, here’s some more information on the tech:
