"A tasty banana" implies being "Tastier than some bananas" therefore it implies "Tastier banana" ;) So "High definition" also implies "Higher definition", hence the redundancy.

Or are they claiming that it's Higher Definition than their competitors' High Definition? I don't think they can ;)
