I think the rating was a bit stiff. Given that there were only a couple real misses. I think they were hard on the vagueness of some statements. Which probably was a bit frustrating for them.

Speaking to the availability of Netflix. That is not an issue with Microsoft. That is an issue with regards to local laws, infrastructure, and contracts. The large market that is the United States has decided advantages for their business model. It will take more time for such a service to work in Europe snaking through all the local laws, institutions, and building infrastructure. Out of curiosity does Europe have a unified postal service or one planned?

Speaking to the online service I think it is fair value. Your not going to get last years blockbuster on it, but it is fun to watch old series, and good movies from a few years ago. So if you fill your queue up well you should always have something good to watch.

Anyway I wouldn't chalk the Netflix issues up to Microsoft. The local laws, and the nature of the market are holding any progression back, and honestly you should want the mailing in with the online service. With the premiere service you can get six to nine discs a week. Real value if your a genre fan such as I am with Anime.
