But Gears 1 was a new IP, and when it was released the 360 have a smaller user base then the PS3 now. Look how well Gears 1 did. And don't forget all the internet Hype and Magazine covers KillZone 2 received. Don't get me wrong, I bought KillZone 2 on day 1 and I enjoy it alot more then Gears 2 and Resistence 2 but its just surprise me how its getting ignore by the North American market. |
again, killzone 2 was a sequel to a game that basically was ignored, and it kinda sucked too in my opinion. that would've turned off a lot of fans. it also released in a time when so many shooters are already in the market. and it's on the ps3, where shooter fans don't necessarily go to.
gears, however, being a new ip, had no sour shoes to fill, and it was pretty much the first "next gen" looking game to be released. and it's on the 360, where the shooter market is on.
