My pc can run resident evil 4 can it run...(pc specs question)

bioshock...j/K. i really need to know if it can run silent hill 3, i believe RE4 is the limit of what it can run, so can it run silent hill 3 or 2??? i have no directx, using some codecs instead, will i need to get directx to run it???
