| NintendoMan said: Firstly - Tevez is better than Berbatov. Tevez has a far higher workrate, is alot more dedicated, more passionate and crucially has scored more goals this season than Berbatov. He is also a far better penalty taker and equally as good as Berbatov in the air. Tevez also draws fouls and has vision just as good as Berbatov. It was also Tevez that made an impact during the 5-2 win over Tottenham - Berbatov didn't, Tevez makes impacts just as well if not better than Tevez. Ask United fans and 99% want Tevez instead of Berbatov. Berbatov may have greater ball skill and assists but that isn't enough. If Tevez had played more regularly instead of Berbatov then Tevez would have at least 2 more goals and be matching him on assists. Secondly - If he does leave then United don't need to buy anyone to replace him, we'll simply bring up Welbeck & Macheda or Manucho & Campbell (both currently on loan). Or we could just get a player on loan again in January if a bit of extra firepower is truly needed at that point. I hope Ribery does not come to United, we have a strong midfield already with Park, Carrick, Fletcher, Anderson, Nani, Hargreaves, O'Shea, Scholes & Giggs, even Rooney can play midfield really well. As for Ronaldo - yes he is a prima donna, yes he does dive and moan too much but from a pure skill point he is of the best players in the world, last year he was undoubtedly the best. If he does go then thats a blow but not serious, if he doesn't (and I hope he stays) then great. |
If you think Tevez is better and a more complete player than Berbatov, your obviously mistaken. If you have watched EVERY SINGLE Man Utd game this season as I have, you will see this. Tevez may have a higher work rate, but can he produce goals or assists? Berbatov has scored some crucial goals as well, Middlesbrough, Bolton, Celtic Newcastle anyone? Tevez is a joke in the air. If you watch games you will see this. Tevez doesn't have good vision at all my friend. Berbatov can control the ball with his small toe and give you a no look pass down the wing. Tevez prefers to take the ball and run at defenders. I realize that Tevez can make a big impact, WHEN HE COMES OFF THE BENCH. Everytime Tevez has started a match he always got subbed off for poor performances. When Berbatov starts, he controls the game well and gets his players going with his passes. United fans may want Tevez over Berbs but they arn't appreciating what Berbatov can bring to the game. If yo uask any fan of any team, they would want the player who runs like a madman all over teh pitch but brings no end product over the player that seems lazy but controls the game well and passes better.
Welbeck, Macheda Campbell, Manucho. These are good young strikers but they arn't good enough to start a match or fill in for and injured Rooney (he does get injrued a lot) These are still "Carling Cup" players. A younger version of Agbonlahor would be good.
Ribery would be a great addition to Utd. Tevez is going to leave this year and that means Rooney will have to play striker not winger. Giggs is getting old, Nani is still young so we need someone to play the wing. Owen could back him up on teh wing, Nani and Giggs could back up Ronaldo.
