| WiiGirl76 said: How many times do I have to say that the WII is NOT only for casual gamers! This refering to those who're saying this, so don't you all feel personally offended please Thanks to that stupid kids toy I buy games which I normally never buy on other consoles, games such as Rayman, Excite Truck and most of all WII Sports and therefore the only genre of RPG games on the PS2 in the past, I now buy a wide range of genres for the WII. If a console does that for me, then it's a major breakthrough. |
I know what you mean, WiiGirl. I'm effing sick of having to argue this. The Wii is no LESS than the PS3 and Xbox (except the very slight and insinificance of the graphics that mean nothing). The Wii the buttons like Xbox360 and PS3, and it also has a classic controller, but its big thing is what is ALSO has, and thats the motion sensitivity. This has already proven that not only can it make alot of simple games fun, but can actually make hardcore games MORE hardcore. Look at Godfather for the best example.
As time moves on, more sandbox games and other so called "hardcore" games that werent for the Cube are going to be put on the Wii. There is no reason any company would not want to after seeing how Godfather did. Also, with the Wii being the most sold console (once Nintendo releases enough to pass that MS console) and the cheapest console to make games for, why wouldnt any company not want to try their hand at it. The Wii will soon lose its kiddy image (which is really just an image by delusional sony boys), starting when the next GTA game gets ported onto the Wii. Once GTA does and it succeeds (which there is no doubt it will, possibly do even better than PS3 and xbox360) there will be no stoping the rush of all 3rd party games to the Wii.
A delayed game is good someday, a bad game is bad forever.
