Ok, how about this from another perspective. If, AND ONLY IF, you seriously planned to buy a PS3 in the next 6 months... Answer this question:
If you could pick from two PS3 models -- both exactly alike in every way except backward compatibility how much extra would you spend to get the BC? $50? $100? Nothing?
Assume the prices are really cheap for a moment when you answer this question -- say $200 and $250 or something like that...
