strictly gaming, ms has offered the least innovation.

1. sega introduced online gaming, amazing revolutionary games and 3d games

2. nintendo gave us some of the best franchises and games as well as the rumble. oh, and the wiimote

3. sony gave us the eyetoy, mics, ibuzzers, nteractive card battles and some of the best games ive played.

4. ms gave us custom soundtracks, halo and gears.

1. I thought the NES went online in Japan only though. And the SNES had some wierd satalite TV system going. Also PC had BBS gaming boards and internet first. Sega model penetrated consoles market earlier than Live. Though I will certainly give credit that Sega made some good new game styles.

2. yes I guess Nintendo did bring us new forms of gaming and new forms for gaming input. However the pointer is a common sense objects to have as an interface. I would like to say it's a PC rip off.

3. Webcam(not new, PC first), mics(not new, PC first), ibuzzer(what is this thing?, maybe I guess), interactive card battles(Magic the Gathering Online is a PC game) it's webcam interaction(PC object) is the only unique and cool thing about it.

4. There are soooooo many PC user that play music with their PC while playing any computer game. Halo(generic FPS), Gears(Shooter and have plenty of them).

hmmm yep your right. MS is the least innovative company out their. Then again they aren't really trying. They are trying to counter disrupt Sony.

Please stop letting Seece goad you on. He seems one of the most awkwardly skewed opinions in regards to the market that I haver ever heard, seen or read that I've come across. I agree with you as i'm sure enough people do. My post above just shows right there that some of PS3 innovations are nothing, but PC designs already. Of Course MS is moving to counter Sony.
