It may be the best looking console game out there so far but it is not the best shooter, at all. COD 4 is still generally regarded as a much more enjoyable and intense game, Gears is a better campaign and multiplayer than killzone 2 among potential others...sooo shhhhhhh |
Dude he's arguing against the PS3... Anyway as for your post, yes the only way to win a console war is to sell more consoles. However people can still hold an opinion on which console is a better one, which isn't based on sales.
Gameplay is purely subjective. Graphics are more objective to judge. While I do agree, if a PS3 fanboy literally said "killzone 2 is the best looking console game ever, therefore its the best shooter ever!!" they'll be wrong. However I don't think it's wrong if they say "Not only is Killzone 2 the best looking game, but it has absolutely amazing gameplay to match its graphical superioty" then they're not wrong, or at least not as wrong as you saying"When really it's not.
