I think the bigger question is: Does it matter?
Sure, even if the 360 reachs the 50k milestone, and otusells the PS3 for a week, it means nothing in the overall holiday season.
With GT5 Prologue, DW6, and WKS (That is still scheduled for end of the year in Japan, right?), the PS3 will easily outsell the 360 almost, and quite likely, every week over the holiday.
It's the same with the PS3 and Wii. Even if the PS3 can beat the Wii a week or two, it doesn't matter unless is can consistently stay at that level.
