Isn't there concerns about the reliability of oled at the moment though?

Currently the lifespan of OLED is alot shorter than LCD or LED, but that's being improved. But I think the numbers are somethin like it'll last 3 years instead of 6, not sure though. Either way, nows not the time to buy OLED, prices are too high for tech that isn't fully developed.

Product life is measured in hours.  Current LCD's last like 60,000 hours

How many days is 60,000 hours?! just wondered how long my tv has left lol

2,500 days

7 years

If you have your tv turned on only for 12 hours a day thats 14 years lifetime.  I don't think you have your tv on 24/7

It all depends on how much you use it.. thats why its measured in hours

Ohh, that's pretty good then!

Don't LCD's start dimming down long before though? or is that just plasma?

Those specs are for LCD and Plasma Half-life (50% dim)
