The problem with Stringer's strategy is no one wants a Walkman. Not even one that plays video. The iPhone/iPod touch play video just fine, if people want their video fix they're not going to carry around a seperate device. 

When Apple won the MP3 market war they won more than just that. Now that iPods/iPhone have larger screens, video just comes naturally to that. 

..try the  ''walckman x''  and then tell me,..
