Like I said in my post. last AAA GT game was GT3 a Spec. Problem is other racing games started to come out, and GT wasnt all that then. It's still a good series but it's last attempts are not at the forefront of the racing genre. With games like Forza, GTR 2, And we'll see how Shift does it's much harder for GT series to impress. And so far since Forza came along it's lost in Metacritics.

 

Don't be absurd. A 90 is so much better than an 89 that it requires its own title?

There's never been one. In fact, only a handful were over 80. Look at Undercover and ProStreet, both under 75.

 

Lets not do this. All the bloody fanboys that stated Fable 2 was not AAA due to it not having 90 or above on Meta. Dont now tell me because it makes the mighty fanboys GT series look bad the most common knowledge thing on this site is now disregarded.

90+ Meta has always been viewed on this site as AAA FACT.

Fable 2 was drowned by PS3 owners because Meta it scored 89. FACT.

GT Series has been losing in quailty to Forza since Forza has been here. Meta says FACT.

 

Just because some idiot PS3 fanboys don't think Fable II is AAA because it has an 89 doesn't give you the right to do the same. If we used that definition, MLB 09 would be AAA, and Uncharted would not. That is just ridiculous.

GT has the highest reviewed game of both series FACT

Only one full GT game has not been 90+, and that was 89 FACT

Gran Turismo is one of the best reviewed series of all time FACT

GT is longer running FACT

GT5 has been in development for twice the time Forza has FACT

3 million people bought a Prologue for GT5 FACT

Prologue is not a full game FACT

Ignoring reviews, GT4 is considered the best driving sim of last gen FACT

Both games will be 90+. But GT5 will review better, sell better, and be more popular.

Fact reviewing wise GT is not of better qualilty than Forza series since Forza has been here.

Fact. Desperation shows when you have to say how GT is the best on old games. ( Of which had no competition and were the only available game of it's kind ).

I pointed this info out why? Becasue people carp on about GT being better than Forza etc etc. When in reality, on an average of opinions for people that have played both Forza is the better game. Metacritic is an average of opinions amongst reviewers. Argue if you will. But it is the ONLY way to acknowledge some form of order on the internet. Otherwise there is no point EVER discussing what a best game is. Every single thread would be pointless.
