I played as a female and killed of Kaiden instead of Ashley.  I never really used either of them but If the time came where i was forced I would rather be stuck with her instead of Kaiden

nah it was too late if you try getting with both there is a cutscene where it makes you choose, I chose kaiden. Once that triggers you ruin your chances with whoever you didn't choose.
