I agree with LordtheNightKnight, as me and makingmusic476 were talking about, halo 3 started developing before halo 2 even came out, so the technology for optimzing halo 3's graphics and ai and whatever else wasnt quite there. These games were seeing now arnt anywhere close the the "optimization" were going to see out of games in the future. Such games as Mass Effect and gears of war for the 360 are just using the first build/stage of the unreal 3 engine, with time, that engine can be pollished and games can be optimized around it to draw out the games and the systems full potential. Such games as warhhawk, motorstorm, and Heavenly Sword are all great games (though limited warhawk only multi, heavenly only 4 hours long, but we are being flooded with short games) those games look awesome too, but no one has even tapped the potential of the unique specs of the ps3 to really tell whats next, becasue its such a different, unlinked game system, like i said in a prior post, they jsut through great technology in the ps3 but it doesnt all work together, sad but true. Im speaking for both systems becasue i own both, but i honestly see a brighter future in gameplay and graphics for the 360.
Freedom isn't free.
