There you go then. In addition to the expensive hardware with huge margins you signed up for a special support costing $250 (!!!) for three years. And even then you lost 3 months out of 3 years. I'd call that poor service. A new one is just damage control, not a good gesture.
With the reliability of PC parts these days you could build one yourself and keep the $250 + Apple margin for spare parts. The money saved would pay for a lot more than 3 years of repairs.
