Matt Damon really seems like the odd one out in that list. I think a good substitution would be Daniel Day Lewis (My Left Foot, There Will be Blood). Otherwise, I'm pretty much in agreement with your list as long as it's active actors.
@OP: Haha... no. He wasn't bad in Dazed and Confused though.
I think his brother Casey Affleck is actually good. Quite good.
