Grats on the upgrade. When I upgraded from SD to 720p nearly 2 years ago now the difference was phenomenal.

Recently I've upgraded again to 1080p 100hz. Imo, 100hz is where it's at, man Planet Earth and Killzone 2 have never looked this good.

I didn't increase in size though (37inch) cause the new tv is for my bedroom. And for those people saying you can't see the difference between 720 and 1080p on anything smaller than 40inches. You need glasses!

Really?! I have 100hz on mine but always have it turned off for gaming and most tv viewing as it gives the picture a strange "fake" look, not a fan if i'm honest,

You sure your new 100hz tv hasn't just got a better response time and lower input lag delay? those two things make a world of difference!

And yeah, I totally agree with you about being able to tell between 720P and 1080P even on smaller screens, it is much more crisp and sharp, any size screen is noticeable, it's just larger the screen the easier it is to see the difference,

Yeah, that's true. Because it's calculating the extra frames it reallys relys on the quality of the tv's tech. I saw a really cheap 600hz tv there the other day, but it was a 42inch SD! lol.

Mine's a good quality Samsung. Occasionally I see what looks like a kind of heat haze around the edges of some moving objects but that's rare and difficult to notice. Generally the tv performs beautifully when turning up gaming quality. Killzone 2 looks amazing with it, as does MGS4 and Wipeout HD. It just makes spaces look more realistic and 3D as you move through them.
