If Sony drops the price for PS3, MS will drop the price for 360 for sure. I'm not sure why you don't think MS can drop the price. They do have a lot of cash reserve to burn through.

$50 price for all model would drop the price to $149/$249/$349... if bundled with a happy meal means more 360 sales and less PS3 sales, I think MS would be happy to do it too

 

$149 thats like £85? how would they make money? you cant cut it so low and still make money

They can make money on other models since not all 360 sold are Arcade. 

Basically, you are saying MS wouldn't lower the price because they would lose money on hardware. However, MS can certainly afford to lose money on 360 with the 20+ billion cash reserve they have. With your theory, Sony would be less likely to have price cut for PS3 since 1. they are still losing $40 on hardware as of now. 2. they don't have cash reserve like MS does.
