I am running Windows 7 64-bit and my performance is better than my Vista 32-bit OS. In Crysis I probably get 10-15fps more - whether this is down to Win7 or the number of bits, I can't be sure. The advantage with using a 64-bit system though is if you have more than 3gb of RAM, you can utilise that, rather than being limited which results in faster loading times / texture performance.

 

 

IM sure this is due to windows 7.  Windows 7 is said to be much faster then vista

 

32 bit windows will take up to 4 gbs of ram. which is still plenty for today's pc games
