But, if my memory serves me well, there was a lot of negativity about the first Gears, concerning the length and the duration of the game. Has to be a bit frustrating for Epic for sure. Give them what they ask for and they complain more. <sigh>
Gears 2 campaign was fantastic, especially as a co-op experience (the ONLY way to play both games). In fact, I wanna play through it on Insane now just thinking about what I really liked about it. Gears 1 was new, so nostalgia is getting in the way of clear thinking for a lot of you. Gears 2 isn't perfect, but its the definition of improvement.
