Some people think the Madden games are really great, too. However, the gameplay changes to Mario Kart are of the same depth that happens in the Madden games. When things change too much, people bitched (see: Double Dash).
This isn't discrimination. This is intelligence. Most of the Mario Kart games are EXACTLY the same. Besides, Mario Kart 64 FTW.
Stop getting so excited about a Kid Icarus remake... the original NES Icarus sucked.
