According to IGN's poll, Batman is winning with 61%.

To be honest, I am not much of a fan of all this, just having fun (never read a comic in my life).

But correct me if I am wrong, isn't Batman just a normal guy with a lot of cool gadgets and training?

If so, Wolverine would kick his ass.

Batman has a lot going for him including some of the best martial arts skills ever, dozens and dozens of gadgets for every occasion (shark-repellent-bat-spary even), and a track record full of victories where he outsmarted the villain versus just winning with brute force.
