"God" is a fictional being created by humans to help them control their own actions. One who "believes" feels rewarded by doing something they feel is in favor of their "God." It's mental self gratification. Kind of like masturbation for your brain. "God" also helps people explain that which they cannot understand. "God" is their broom and whatever they don't understand is easily swept under the door and forgotten about by simply "using God." Believing that you will reach a higher plane of existence after death is also a form of mental self control. Some people can control their actions without the need of a higher being to lean on. "God" explains things for those that don't (or don't want to) understand.
It seems the mods need help with this forum. I have zero tolerance for trolling, platform criticism (Rule 4), and poster bad-mouthing (Rule 3.4) and you will be reported.
