This thread is not about PC gaming Mike. Look at the topic and first post.

Windows PC gaming is very much connected to console gaming nowadays, that's an often mentioned advantage of the 360. Being easy to cross develop 360 and PC versions.

And you are trying to tie this in how to the question of the thread which is, is it a good or bad sign that PS3 sells on par with the Xbox 360 these days, given the fact that the OP contends:

"Microsoft started this generation with a very tiny hard core fan base that basically revolved around their affection to Halo and Sony started with the largest game fan base ever created in history.

Now the PS 3 and Xbox 360 are selling about equal.  That means Microsoft effectively erased Sony's 11 years of montrous success and put them on an even keel with themselves. Not only that, the Xbox 360 has NEVER had a YOY decrease in any quarter or year and the PS3 already has in its third year."

What are you saying this has to do with PC gaming and how you personally are not too interested in it anymore?
