Of course The Conduit is better.  The question is whether or not it is 500% better, so that the value equals out (cost vs entertainment value.  And yes, I am tweaking the nose of the attempt at hyped or buzz behind "The Conduit" here, but if you want to spin this into something that is more constructive, you can look at several of these angles:

1. Price vs value, and the ability to measure this.  Like is a game worth it more as a bargain title then if it was at full price.  If so, at what point does it make sense to buy it?

2. To what extend can a small "garage game" project hold up to a full-blown production title?

3. Why the heck did someone produce an XBox Live Community game FPS?

4. How much more would you pay for a game to get added production value?

 

There are other ones also, if people care to run with it.  I believe it would be good if people do this, rather than get all defensive over "The Conduit" supposedly being "all that and a bag of chips".  We are talking a Wii FPS title here.   Are people expecting this title to be a killer app that will drive XBox 360 owners to suddenly sell their 360's and buy Wiis instead?

 

Then I guess you should have been asking if Conduit will be 400% (sorry to be pedantic, but $50 is 400% larger than $10) better than Onslaught. They're both on the same platform, removing the barrier of hardware. Onslaught also has a more comparable feature set. It uses the IR pointer instead of a thumbstick for aiming and features online multiplayer, two key features which Jonny Crush seems to lack.

Edit: Wait, you're admitting that this whole thing is just axe-grinding over people who hyped up Killzone 2 as a Halo-killer? Seriously? Stop the cycle of hate, man, you're bumming me out.
