Birth rates fall after a generation. We've seen the same thing with earlier European immigrants, and modern immigrants to Europe.
America is becoming less white, less religious, and younger. So the Republican strategy of playing up to the white evangelical Christian base is going to backfire to even greater degrees than it did in 2006 and 2008. They're essentially writing off an entire generation, as well as Hispanic and black voters.
