and how can it be a different game when it's all about creating levels? it can have different single player, but still it's the same game but with lower resolution. it's like main Pokemon series on handhelds differences between specific versions are debatable.

     Creating levels is only one part of LBP, how can you discount the entire single player game? Its only the same game if it is the same levels that they use in the PS3 version just with lower resolution.  And they arent, so its not the same game. 

      So, since in alot of peoples eyes COD is all about the online,  that means since COD2 on 360 it has been the same game since only the single player is different but it still is all about the multipayer.  That would probably make COD the highest selling game of all time correct? 

The Pokemon series is completely different since most of the time there are direct ports of the console versions just with a few new things.
