PlayStation 3 can still win.

I do not know where to start. This post is so f&(%#ed up it isn't funny.

1. That is not how the charts work. The PS3 will sell the same total as the Wii now, in 7 months.

2. 100 Million people aren't brand loyaltists

3. Hardware plays no major role in the console wars.

4. You use no logic for your statements, at least back it up.

No anyone else care to go into detail?

Anyway I will try to explain my logic:

For PS3 vs 360 my logic goes something like:

1) PS3 sells the same in the first year as the 360 even when the 360 had 2 major advantages: no next gen competition and much cheaper. LOGIC 360 DID WAY BETTER!

2) PS3 drops to $400. LOGIC SALES MUST GO DOWN!

3) PS3 gets MGS, GT, FFXII. LOGIC SALES WILL FREAKING DROP LIKE CRAZY!

And for PS3 vs Wii my logic is something like:

1) In 1-2 years when everyone has a 1080p TV... LOGIC WII'S 480P ROCKS!

2) PS3 is expensive, Wii is pretty cheap. LOGIC 100M PS2 USERS ARE WAITING ON A WII PRICE DROP TO BUY ONE!

I admit, my logic sucks but it's what I believe will happen, so what? You don't have to believe it, you can believe in whatever you like.

 

 MGS, GT, and FFXIII will no more save the PS3 than Smash Bros., Mario Sunshine, and Wind Waker saved the Gamecube. In addition, the PS3 price drop is still a rumor, however substantiated it may be.

As for the Wii, you grossly overestimate HD adoption rates... and people's knowledge of HD, for that matter. Hell, less than half of PS3/360 owners even know that their consoles are HD-capable, and I'm willing to bet that less of them even care. You also overestimate brand loyalty; people go where the games are, not where a little product logo is.
