I am laughing too because Wii hasn't had a AAA software release for almost a year and it still sells like hotcakes. Software must not matter that much...

Surprisingly, but people still buying Wii mostly for the same damn game, released over 2 years ago. That's just beyond my understanding. How they could possibly buy smth that got released more than 3 months ago? No matter how you spin it, but Wii is software-driven like any other console.

Unlike you, they don't spend time on Video Game websites looking for new games to come out. Its not beyond understanding, its common sense. What Nintendo simply did this generation is tap a market that no one expanded on last generation . These are the same people who go into a game store and fail to see the massive Wii section in front of them, only to ask the clerk "where are the Wii games?". The same people who prefer playing minutes a day instead of hours a day. The same people who buy games like Carnival Games and Deca Sports over Madworld and Zack & Wiki.
