Indeed, Nvidia is the one causing people leasing game engines issues as they refuse to adopt DirectX 10.1 which ATI has since 2007. AMD had poor motherboard support in the 486 days because they didn't make their own motherboards. Since they bought ATI their chipsets have been very reliable - I haven't seen a single negative review of one. I have seen plenty stating that Nvidia motherboards run too hot and that, as I linked, Nvidia graphics cards fail due to heat issues.

If you insist, friend. Go to leadwerks.com and check through the support forums. The admin is the creator of the engine. He's run several benchmarks and has tried to get the AMD ATI drivers and hardware to play nice. There's quite a few developers using this engine, and they have to find workarounds to the AMD video card issue. You really shoudn't be so insisting on the issue unless you've checked every source, it just makes you look like one of those Sony Defense Force guys ;)
As for heat issues, please have a look for reviews on anything from the x1600 onward, especially cards with 512 mb. If you need a source, try looking up some reviews on newegg.com, you'll find lots of heat issues for the AMD ATI cards.
Trust me, I'd like to not say such bad things about the cards, I used to be a huge ATI supporter.
