Does anyone ever get a suspicion that some of these pre e3 'rumors' could be created by rival companies, in order to lessen or hurt the impact of the other companies e3 announcements. For instance, what if MS knew Sony was no where close to being able to do this, so they figured they'd leak a rumor like this just to disappoint people hoping to see it come to fruition. I know it's far fetched but all these rumors we hear are really to be taken with a grain of salt. I seem to remember David Perry who seems to dislike the PS3 was all but glad to leak info on the new psp awhile back.
