3 years PS3 - no innovation, just Shooters?

innovation on sony platforms?
well there's LBP, Eye of Judgment...and that's all. rest of the games are just bumped up versions of ps2 games with different names or numbers after the title. i'm really waiting for Eyepet though - this could be really fun experience.
