Little Big Planet is really an exception, I agree. And I have a lot of other games than shooters. But most are just polished up versions from PS2 games, nothing really new.
Assassins Creed was something new, somehow, but somehow boring. I can not enter buildings in general, this was really disappointing.
On PSN are some innovative games, as I already said, but these are small games... more like Teasers or technical demos...
I gave you some examples... The Card game with the PS3 Eye was some kind of innovative, but it is still unique...
Imaging a 3rd Person shooter, which captures YOU and put this as a texture on the players character.... not DRAKE but YOU!
Where are the Ideas???
Software is like Sex, it is better when it is free!
