Wii is the best selling console of all time - exaggeration (not really true because we are only using a trend to predict end results)
The Wii sells better than hotcakes. - hyperbole (doesn't actually sell better than hotcakes [whatever the means] but conveys the message that it sells really really well, it's also obvious that while untrue, it's serves only to make a point)
