I thought bill gates no longer ran microsoft?  He was last stated as running a non-profit organization to help the disadvantaged.  Shareholders are the new bosses over in redmond, california.

He doesn't run Microsoft.  That has nothing to do with what Garnett said other than he USED to be a part of MS.  I think he just meant that as the world's richest man, Bill Gates could in fact do what he said

 

 

Okay what I mean is the 388 million has "nothing" to do with Bill Gates, he is "no longer" part of microsoft.  So what he does with his cash was not relevent to the conversation (was my point).  Plus Bill Gates is "not" the worlds richest man, he dropped to number three last year (this depression is hurting everyone I guess LOL)
