We are allowed to kill chickens! Especially those we feed just for the sake of eating one day.
And on a serious note, I'm all for preserving the environment as much as we can, but you're taking it to an extreme.
I wonder how guilty the green plants race feels for all the stuff that died out when they started releasing that damn oxygen in the air.
